The Ministry of Industry and Trade decides to apply measures for preventing and countering the evasion of trade remedies to certain cane sugar products imported into Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia and Myanmar.

Products on which measures against evasion of trade remedies are imposed are sucrose (common name: table sugar, cane sugar, refined sugar, raw sugar, white sugar, granulated sugar, RE sugar, RS sugar, etc.) with the following HS codes: 1701.13.00; 1701.14.00; 1701.91.00; 1701.99.10; 1701.99.90; and 1702.90.91.

Measures against evasion of trade remedies include dumping duty (42.99%) and countervailing duty (4.65%), applicable to all manufacturing countries as mentioned above.

This Decision comes into force 07 days after the date of its promulgation.
