This Decision is to announce the List of manufacturers and exporters of cane sugar products of Thailand that are imposed anti-dumping and countervailing duties from August 18, 2023

Accordingly, cane sugar products imported from Thailand from August 18, 2023 shall be imposed 32.75% anti-dumping duty and 0% countervailing duty if they are manufactured, exported from these companies: Mitr Phol Sugar Corp., Ltd., United Farmer & Industry Co., Ld., Singburi Sugar Co., Ltd., Mitr Kalasin Sugar Co., Ltd., Pacific Sugar Corporation Limited and Czarnikow Group Limited.

In case cane sugar products are manufactured, exported from the following groups of companies, they shall be imposed 25.73% anti-dumping duty and 4.65% countervailing duty: Thai Roong Ruang Industry Co., Ltd., Thai Multi Sugar Industry Co., Ltd., Baanrai Sugar Industry Co., Ltd., The Cholburi Sugar & Trading Corp., Ltd. and Siam Sugar Export Corp Ltd.

The products on which the anti-dumping and countervailing duties are imposed are sucrose (common names: table sugar, cane sugar, refined sugar, raw sugar, yellow sugar, brown sugar, white sugar, granulated sugar, RE sugar, RS sugar, etc.) that bear the following HS codes: 1701.13.00; 1701.14.00; 1701.91.00; 1701.99.10; 1701.99.90; and 1702.90.91.

This Decision takes effect from August 18, 2023.
