Decree No. 24/2023/ND-CP dated May 14th, 2023 of the Government on statutory pay rate for public officials, civil servants, public employees and armed forces’ personnel

This Decree officially increases the statutory pay rate for public officials, civil servants, public employees and armed forces’ personnel to VND 1,800,000 per month from July 1st, 2023.

The statutory pay rate of VND 1,800,000/month shall be used for calculating:

(i) salary in payrolls, allowance levels and performing other regimes with regard to public officials, civil servants, public employees, contract employees in state agencies, units

(ii) operational charges, living expenses as prescribed by law;

(iii) contributions and benefits under the statutory pay rate.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs shall provide guidelines on implementation of the increase in the statutory pay rate under this Decree for subjects enjoyed salary, allowances in state agencies, organizations and non-business units.

This Decree takes effect from July 1st, 2023 and replaces Decree No. 38/2019/ND-CP dated May 9th, 2019.
