After the meeting on May 30th, 2022, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai requested the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to promptly propose the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City adjustments to fees for use of public seaport infrastructure works and utilities (seaport infrastructure fees) in the sea border-gate area in Ho Chi Minh City in July 2022.
In which, it is required to pay attention to these contents:
- The regulating of different fee rates with regard to goods whose customs declarations are opened in Ho Chi Minh City and goods whose customs declarations are opened outside Ho Chi Minh City must ensure the principles of fairness, transparency and equality;
- Reviewing fee rates of temporarily imported goods, goods in transit, goods transferred border gates;
- Reviewing the conformity to international agreements, treaties to which Vietnam is member;
- Adjusting fee rates with regard to imports, exports transported by inland waterway in line with Directive No.37/CT-TTg dated September 29th, 2020.
