This Circular adjusts method for determination of total deposits upon calculation of LDR (Loan-to-deposit ratio) of commercial banks. Accordingly, the total deposits regulated at point a clause 4 Article 20 of Circular No. 22/2019/TT-NHNNstatus2 shall not include term deposits of State Treasury, following the road map below:

- In 2023: excluding 50% of the balance of deposits of the State Treasury;

- In 2024: excluding 60%;

- In 2025: excluding 80%;

- From January 1st, 2026 onwards: excluding 100%

This Circular takes effect from December 31st, 2022.
