Through reports on the quality of life insurance agents' advice and support in entering into insurance contracts, the Ministry of Finance requests life insurers to implement these contents:
- Strengthen inspection and supervision of the performance of insurance agency contracts, evaluate the quality of insurance agents' advice, introduction, and sale of insurance products. Request the agents to provide complete and accurate information on insurance products of the insurer to policyholders. Strictly handle the liability of insurance agents in case of violations of the law in performing activities authorized by insurers.
- Review and improve the quality of customer care services, improve practices, internal regulations, and policies on risk management, ensuring compliance with the law.
- When a customer complaint arises, the insurer must actively work to resolve the issue. If the customer has reported through press agencies regarding the signing and performance of the contract with the insurer, the company must provide objective and transparent information to the press agencies.
